Vladimir gives Ivan money to run away at the age of 14 (Fabio being 17, Alayna being 8). Vlad was always abusive towards his wife, and "loving" towards his children. After Fabio turned 18, Vlad disbanded the family, and sent Alayna to a child home. Fabio had no place to stay, so he went to live with his best friend Sevastian and his grandmother who took him in as her own son. He visited Alayna every day to prevent her from being adopted. One day Fabio was late getting to the orphanage and Alayna was gone, adopted at the age of 12 (Fabio being 21). About a day later, Fabio went home to visit his mother, who was about 38 years old, but appeared the age of 90*.Vlad was gone, Fabio stayed to care for her. A few months later, she passed away. Fabio remained in the house. Days later, someone had broken into the house and attempted to assassinate Fabio. He woke up and fought the intruder off, finding out it was his brother Ivan**, who then escaped. Fabio tracked Ivan back to Paris, and remained there forthe following years in search of his brother and father. With no luck, Fabio eventually met Chiruha and her friends who were out in Europe on a college trip. He gets news that his sister was back in the orphanage. After returning the lost necklace to the cat girl, Fabio disappears back to a hotel in Italy and meets up with them again coinsidentally (Alternative: Fabio recieves the news and overhears them saying their next destination is Italy, and asks to tag along), Ivan then has the chance to leave Paris and return to Vlad in Russia. First night at the hotel, Chiruha can't sleep and walks around, and ends up following music to find Fabio in a large empty ballroom playing the piano, an old tune that Chira's mother used to sing to her asa child. Fabio teaches her how to play the tune, and Chiruha ends up finding out that Fabio is blind***. The next day, Fabio invites Chiruha to go and meet his sister at theorphanage, in hopes of gaining legal custody over her. When they arrive, Alayna refuses to go with Fabio and screams how much she hates his guts and states she never wants to see him again****. Fabio leaves heart broken and confused, and decides to take chiruha to an old hangout place that they all used to go to as kids. Later that night, Fabio goes to Sevastian's grandmother's house to find out where Sev lives, then went to visit him at his apartment in the city. They have a little reunion,and to celebrate they go to a bar, where Fabio abnormally picks up a drinking habit that ends up concerning Sevastian. (ill continue this on later..)

*Vlad and Lyla were both reaching middle age, and Vlad wants infinite youth, so he drained his wife's youth, making him appear younger and her older.
**When Vlad told Ivan to run away years ago, he was sent off to train with Vlad's men, to soon return at this moment to kill Fabio*****.
***Fabio is partial bat. During the day, he is completely blind. At night, like a bat, he uses sonar rays to see some objects so he can somewhat see
****When Alayna was first put in care, Fabio promised her that every day he would come and make sure no one takes her away, until he turned 18 and was able to take custody.
Being in school at the time, he was late one day, and she thought that he had forgotten and let her go.

*****This whole story revolves around Fabio either living or dying. In the legends and tales of the bat hybrid race, once every couple thousand years, the "bat king" is born on the new year. Normally every bat hybrid begins to lose their eyesight towards puberty, and depending on the species, they need a certain nourishment to retain their eyesight and stregnth;
>fruit bats- fruit, vampire bats- blood
without the nourishment they need, they loose the ability to see, they lose their strength, they become underweight, lose skin color, and eventually die.hen he got his first taste of blood in early adolesence, he didn't like the powerful impulses he felt within him, and the taste of another living creature's death disgusted
him. He soon learned about "the bat king" born on jan 1st, every few thousand years that has abnormally strong urges to consume blood. He confronted his father about this who then realized that his son held the bat king's soul.

{Xaruga is a bat demon soul who is worshipped as the "Bat king." its born attached to the soul of a living bat hybrid, and when that child reaches adolesence and starts aquiring their taste for blood (only vampire bats can be born with it), their desire for blood is stronger than the average vampire bat. The blood awakens the xaruga's soul which then takes over the child's body and morphs it into the bat demon's true beast form. In this form, (think of it like the hulk mixed with a flying rat) the subject has no memories, thoughts, or sanity. They're driven by complete wild instinct and are extremely prone to kill anything in sight to aqcuire more blood. The child has to overcome the beastly state of mind and force it under thier power and control to return to thier humane state of mind. If not, they'll remain in that demon state and pretty much fuck everything up.
If they manage to control it, they'll be able to return to their natural form and be able to work with harnessing the demon's power and form, it's then that they decide the fate
to rule the bat race to conquer the world for evil, or use it for good and maintain the balance on earth.}

with this news, Vlad soon developed a greedy hunger for the power that his son held. Fabio did not like the idea of caring a blood thirsty beast inside of him, and he wanted it dead before it could hurt anyone. At that moment, he became dedicated to starving the internal beast of everything it needed to come to life, which meant sacrificing his own life. After time and time again of trying to get fabio to drink blood, he realized his son's intentions, and sent Ivan away. Vlad's plans were to have Ivan kill Fabio years later, and they would devour his flesh and blood and heart to gain the power of the Xaruga so they could rule the bat race to take over the world.*****

this is only the first half of the story looooooooool omg ;3;
i have to look through some old notebooks and notes to piece together the rest of it, but this is pretty much the rise to the climax in which fabio accidentally unleashes the beast ohoho excitement.

ive considered actually writing this out and lettin those who want to, read it and know the whole story. but im sooooo lazyyyy
